Here are a few pics of the first guitar I've finished since moving to the new shop. Geeze, this moving stuff has got to stop!

This one is black acacia B/S with a engelmann top. The FB, Bridge and headstock are mac ebony. Still needs to have the action tweaked a little, makes my fingers hurt to play it. I took it to a jam last night and got a few oohs and aahs.

Full frontal:

Side shot:

Rosette shot:

Headstock:

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys!

Man, I gotta get a better shot of that back. It really is a nice looking piece of acacia. The camera just did funny things to it. I'll try again after I get some new batteries for the camera.

Thanks Andy! I am alway awed by your guitars.

BTW, I forgot to mention, this is built from the Prima plans that I got from Frank Finocchio. Someone was asking about that in a earlier thread but I couldn't remember who it was.

Really nice, Dave,

Looks like you're getting a few oohs and aahs here too and well-deserved, I might add!

Hah! I was going to ask the same question :^)

I like my prima better than the OM shape that I have a John Hall mold for. I need to do some measuring and drawing some day.jtkirby38844.831099537

John Hall sells a prima mold, and Frank Finocchio will sell the plans for this if you need them.

It is really a nice guitar.

Thanks again guys!

I'll see if I can get a little better pic of the back today and post the traditional pic of the end graft as well.
